About the event

Join us at Breney Common on Wednesday 9th July, from 10:00 to 15:00, to learn about a variety of heathland wildlife species and how to identify them. This workshop will be entirely outdoors, and will be suitable for both beginners and those looking for a refresher!

We will also have a brief discussion about relevant volunteering opportunities you could get involved with using your skills from this session, for those interested in next steps. However, attending the workshop doesn't commit you to volunteering, so please do come along if you simply wish to take part on the day.

Important Information:

Please wear wellies, and bring appropriate clothing for the weather. Breney Common is muddy and uneven, and in the event of rain there is no shelter, so please bring waterproofs is rain looks likely! Please bring a packed lunch.

Toilets will be available at Gunwen Chapel at the beginning and end of the session.

This event is open to all, but we do require under 18s to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will also need to sign up.

The workshop will be led by Budding Nature and has been made possible thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Spaces are limited so if you are no longer able to attend, please let us know ASAP to allow someone else the opportunity.

If you have any questions about this workshop, please contact Sasha either via email at sasha.pinto@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk or call on 07508499021.
