Funding provides boost for sustainable business practices
Cornwall Wildlife Trust have received a grant from the Digital Transformation Programme, funded from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This grant scheme is part of the European Structure and Investment Funds Growth Programme for 2020 – 2023.
This funding will allow the trust to implement better IT systems to manage its finance, projects, procurement, and pay cycle.
Like any organisation, Cornwall Wildlife Trust wants to do as much as it can with the resources it has. The Trust intends to increase its positive environmental impact not only within the County but wherever conservation and rehabilitation is on the agenda. To achieve this vision, the Trust is looking at its people, processes and systems.
This review has highlighted opportunities to introduce more streamlined working practices that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the wider team.
The new system will allow the Trust to work towards this ambitious goal; enabling the wider team to focus on activities that will make a real difference to our county's habitats and species in the future.
