About the event

Join marine experts from Looe Marine Conservation Group for our Rockpool Ramble at Hannafore Beach

Do you like to explore the shore looking for marine wildlife?

Then this is the activity for you!

Come along for a rockpooling adventure in search of some of Cornwall's magnificent marine species. 

From sensational seaweeds to amazing anenomes and cracking crabs, we’ll be recording all the species we find.

Meet us on the beach at 1:30pm to start the adventure.

Make sure to wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear for rockpooling – we recommend wellies or wetsuit boots. NO FLIP FLOPS ALLOWED.

All are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Parking available on Marine Drive or in local car parks

Mobility

Please note that this event is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility due to the uneven terrain on the shore and the access down to the beach. 

There are public toilets located on the beach.

It is not compulsory to participate for the full two hours although we ask that you arrive at the start time for our safety briefing.
