About the event
As night falls, we'll search for one of the UK's most enchanting nocturnal insects — the glow worm. Learn all about their fascinating life cycle, why they glow, and how Buglife is working to protect these incredible creatures.
Starting at 10pm and finishing at 11.30pm
- Led by Hannah Barnikel (Penhale Dunes ranger) and Will Hawkes (Buglife conservation officer)
- Meet at Perran sands car park (first one on the right)

Environment: unsteady sand dunes, tussocky gass, stinging nettles, doo poo - please wear sturdy footwear and warm layers. Please bring a torch with you - phone torches will be fine.
