About the event

Join the Tor to Shore team and representatives from local wildlife groups for a guided Rockpool Ramble at Spit Beach, Par.

We'll meet in the car park at 11:00am before walking together to the beach. Please note that the route to the shoreline is approximately 500 metres and includes natural coastal terrain.

Together we'll explore the rocky shore and discover the fascinating wildlife living amongst the rocks and pools. We'll search for crabs, anemones, seaweeds and other marine creatures while learning more about the incredible habitats found along Cornwall's coastline and the species that call them home.

This is a fantastic opportunity for families, nature lovers and curious explorers of all ages to get closer to marine wildlife, learn from local experts, and uncover some of the secrets hidden along the shoreline.

This event is part of the Tor to Shore Project, made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. We would like to thank National Lottery players for helping to make events like this possible.
