2026 Annual Member Survey Results

Hearing your thoughts and understanding your needs is vital as we work together toward our shared vision of a Cornwall where nature thrives. 

We were deeply inspired by the concerns and aspirations you shared, as well as your heartfelt feedback and passion for the natural world.

93% of you agree that Cornwall Wildlife Trust are clear about what they want to achieve.
73% of you said helping Cornwall's wildlife and wild places best describes why you support us.
93% of you say we get the balance right with how often we communicate with you.
84% of you feel inspired to take action for wildlife.
86% of you feel confident that your support has an impact.
The top three reasons you care about Cornwall's nature are: it is important for Cornwall's sense of heritage and identity; it is important for tackling climate change; and it has its own intrinsic value.
During the last year, the biggest ways you've helped create a wilder Cornwall are: encouraging others to take action for wildlife; recommending Cornwall Wildlife Trust to a friend; supporting one of our appeals; and visiting a Cornwall Wildlife Trust nature reserve.
You told us the following areas of our work are important to you: protecting Cornwall's wildlife; owning, restoring and managing nature reserves; creating new habitats for wildlife; working in partnership with farmers and landowners; and ensuring that wildlife is protected by the planning system.
