Experience the Helford River like never before on a guided cruise with Cornwall Wildlife Trust. Join Koru Kayaking/Helford River Cruises and a wildlife expert from Cornwall Wildlife Trust onboard, sharing their knowledge of the river’s unique habitats, birds, fish, and other wildlife.
As you cruise along the tranquil waters of the Helford River, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of quaint villages, the iconic Trebah Gardens, secluded beaches, and awe-inspiring geological formations. The journey also takes you through the magical creeks, including the famous Frenchman’s Creek, famously featured in Daphne Du Maurier’s novel.

Please allow 10 mins to walk through the hotel gardens to the quay.
Getting to the foreshore from the car park:
When you arrive at the Budock Vean Hotel, drive down the driveway and park car in over-flow carpark which is left at roundabout in front of the hotel. Get out of the car and follow the driveway to gate next to new Budock Vean Holiday Homes. Walk through the gate and follow path down hill through the gardens as it veers to the right. Follow the pathway down through the gardens with woodland on the left and a waterfall and gardens on the right. Please wear suitable footwear as the path is uneven and give yourself about 10 minutes to stroll down to the foreshore.
When you reach the foreshore late a left to the hotel quay and the Koru Kayaking sign on the boatshed where you guide will meet you for boat experience.
