About the event

Higher Trenedden is a tranquil 8-acre garden set in a quiet valley with countryside views, with features ranging from an established cottage garden to an arboretum with specimen trees. It has a meadow with a large pond, and a boardwalk through marshland with an abundance of wildflowers and wildlife. There is also a wet wildwood with boardwalks and veteran oaks.

New enclosures bordering two 10-acre fields comprising cascading streams into two ponds with a mixture of nature and specimen trees, planted 2018-2020.

An exciting opportunity to become part of the team... Could you be our next Open Gardens Volunteer Co-ordinator?

Our Open Gardens programme is managed entirely by dedicated volunteers. Our talented coordinators help us in finding suitable gardens, communicating with garden owners, and overseeing the event days themselves - all contributing to create a Cornwall where nature can thrive.

We are looking for new volunteer coordinators to join this wonderful team. Find out more and apply below.
