The Your Shore Network is working across Cornwall to engage and inspire the youth of Cornwall to protect the beautiful marine environment that surrounds us. The Your Shore team is working with schools, colleges, youth groups, and local community groups throughout Cornwall, and inviting everyone to get involved. The future is in your hands!

Cornwall has a thriving network of dedicated and skilled local marine volunteer groups all around its coastline, who look after and shout about their wonderful marine wildlife. Set up by Cornwall Wildlife Trust, the Your Shore Network consists of 17 community-led marine conservation groups across the county. These groups work together sharing data, ideas, and resources to present a united voice advocating for better protection for our coast.

The Marine Strandings Network is a flagship project of Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and has been recording and monitoring dead marine wildlife strandings in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly for over 25 years. We work in partnership with the Cetacean Strandings Investigation Progamme (DEFRA Funded) and University of Exeter to lead on marine strandings work for Cornwall.

Cornwall Wildlife Trust sees the need for a Nature Recovery Network. This means protecting and creating larger areas of habitat that are connected by wildlife corridors – ensuring land is actively being put into recovery for nature’s benefit.
