Your Shore Conference 2026: Celebrating Cornwall’s Coastal Heroes

The Your Shore Conference 2026 brought together Cornwall’s passionate marine conservation community, celebrating the achievements of all its volunteers.

The Your Shore Conference 2026 brought together Cornwall’s passionate marine conservation community on 31st January 2026 at the stunning Tregenna Castle Resort in Carbis Bay — a fitting backdrop for a day dedicated to protecting Cornwall’s incredible marine environment.

This annual event is a cornerstone for the Your Shore Network, uniting volunteers, group leaders, and conservation experts who work tirelessly to protect Cornwall’s coastline.

Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Your Shore Network connects a thriving web of community‑led marine groups across Cornwall. These groups run a range of activities from beach cleans, citizen science surveys, marine wildlife events, and educational workshops — all contributing vital data and protection to Cornwall’s marine nature recovery.

The day was spent enjoying presentations from local Your Shore groups, sharing achievements and impactful community projects from the past year, alongside expert-led and hands-on workshops. There were also inspirational volunteer stories that highlights the dedication behind each and every person in the room.

Take a look at some of the highlights from 2025 in the video below.
