Windmill Farm,

1 mile north of Lizard village.

On the A3083, head south towards Lizard village. Keep going past Trevelyan Holiday Homes and take the third turning on the
right, along a two-vehicle wide, rough but Tarmac road. Continue straight for 700m passing through Rose in the Valley Farm until you reach the Windmill, where you will find parking for up to 10 cars.

About the event

Join fellow Cornwall Wildlife Trust supporters who have pledged a gift in their Will for a special visit to Windmill Farm Nature Reserve. West Cornwall Reserves Manager Nick Marriott will lead an exclusive guided tour, sharing the story of this fascinating reserve, its wildlife and the work being done to protect and restore it. 

Meeting at 10am for a 10.30am start, the guided walk will last approximately 1.5–2 hours. After the walk, refreshments will be available along with the opportunity to ask questions.

Booking is essential. This event is exclusively for supporters who have pledged a gift in their Will. Places are limited to 20. Parking is limited, so please car-share where possible. Please arrive by 10am for a 10.30am start

Mobility

The terrain is grazed pasture, so can be uneven and muddy or churned, with boardwalks to step up onto, so sturdy footwear is essential. Unfortunately, the route is not wheelchair accessible.

There are no toilet facilities at the reserve – nearest public toilets are Lizard Town (approx 2.4 miles South of the venue).
