About the event

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the associated Your Shore Network groups for a packed week of brilliant activities and events during National Marine Week!

From Saturday 25th July to Sunday 2nd August, we'll be celebrating and learning about our Cornish coastlines and marine life, why they're important and how to protect them.

Join the Perranporth Marine Conservation Group at Perranporth Beach on Saturday 1st August to explore the shore for spectacular seaweeds, cracking crabs and more!

Dogs

Under effective control

Dogs are permitted off-lead on the sand dunes and the stretch of beach past "flat rocks" all day. On the main beach (from the promenade to the Flat Rocks steps), they must be on a short lead between 10 AM and 5 PM.

Mobility

This event takes place on slippery and uneven rocky terrain, unsuitable for wheelchair users and those with low motility. You will also need to cross the shallow stream leading to the sea.

Please wear appropriate footwear for rockpooling (wellies or wetsuit boots - NO FLIP FLOPs allowed) and dressed for the Cornish weather
