About the event

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the associated Your Shore Network groups for a packed week of brilliant activities and events during National Marine Week!

From Saturday 25th July to Sunday 2nd August, we'll be celebrating and learning about our Cornish coastlines and marine life, why they're important and how to protect them.

Join the Newquay Marine Group at Trenance Boating Lake, Newquay Looe on Saturday 1st August to catch a glimpse of our migratory eels as they enter the lake.

We’ll explore their fascinating life cycle and explain how our volunteers have worked to mitigate some of the obstacles the European Eel faces.
