About the event

In this workshop we will start off by gaining an understanding of the basics of fern identification, breaking down the terminology and introducing you to the most common species found in Cornwall, along with the rarer species to look out for. Then, we will head out to the nearby Cornwall Wildlife Trust Kennall Vale nature reserve to seek out species to identify.

Complete beginners to fern identification are very welcome. Those with more experience should also find this workshop useful in honing their skills.

Leader: Derek Green, Budding Nature
