About the event
Transformed from farmland by sisters Adrienne and Trish, this nine-and-a-half-acre garden is a dedicated space for wildlife. South Bosent blends unique plants with features such as a woodland filled with bluebells and ferns near a stream. Six ponds, including a rill and waterfall, support diverse creatures, from newts to mallards, while bramble patches and areas of wilderness provide vital habitats. The garden nurtures insects, birds, and other animals, offering a peaceful sanctuary for both nature and visitors. This is a beautiful example of gardening for nature, with ‘weeds’ welcome here and there amongst the intended planting.
