About the event

Step into a garden with a distinctly tropical feel. Trelan boasts a beautiful natural swimming pool surrounded by lush planting that teems with life; newts, tadpoles, damselflies, and dragonflies, while birds bathe at the grassy fringes.

There’s an exquisite cobblestone Italianate sunken garden with a deliciously scented lemon tree centre stage, and two very impressive Trachycarpus fortunei standing tall. Enjoy the wildflower meadow, the fern garden, and seek out the sculpture fashioned from the roots of dead echiums! It really is a feast for the senses, and inspiration for artist owner, Nick Williams. 

Live music from the Garker Street Band.

Trelan Gardens are off Wharf Rd, 100m down on the right-hand side.

There is wheelchair access to most of the garden from a bottom gate. The toilet does have small steps to access.
