The water company, which is Trust Wildlife Partner, has for the 12th consecutive year committed to supporting a range of exciting marine events around the county, created to inspire local people to get out and about in nature and appreciate the quality of our local wildlife and wild places. In 2018 the joint events were enjoyed by over 3,000 people of all ages, all around Cornwall.

Kick-starting 7th April with ‘Spring in the Rockpools’ in Fowey, and including the Trust’s very first ‘wildlife festival’ in May, there is a host of fantastic events for the whole family to enjoy.

Wildlife Watch - Spring in the Rockpools

Enjoy a wonderful rockpooling experience at this sheltered beach with our expert Heather Buttivant. See what has survived the winter and learn how they did it.

WILDER FESTIVAL
Sunday 26th May, 12noon to 8pm
The Eco-Park, Porthtowan
Join us for a naturally wild day out with wildlife workshops, forage and feats, music, wildlife art and much more.
Including, Children’s Parade at 3pm. Show your love for wildlife. Get creative and dress up as any British animal or plant and join in the fun as we parade around the Eco-Park and enjoy all we have to offer. Some outfits and face paints available! Children (and parents?!) of all ages welcome.
