About the reserve

Habitats on the site are quite typical of the Mid-Cornwall Moors; complex mosaics of wet and dry heath, scrub, bogs, grasslands and open water. Reed buntings breed in wetland areas in this reserve and evidence of otters has been seen. Bog myrtle is widespread here
