About the event
Part of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust Marine Winter talks series, we welcome local fisher Jonny Pascoe to talk about what it’s really like to be working in one of Cornwall’s most traditional industries.
He’ll be discussing the importance of fishing communities in Cornwall, the difficulties they face, as well as the sustainable practices and solutions they undertake to secure a future for both the industry and the marine environment.
Join us for what will be a fascinating insight to Cornwall’s fisheries from one of their own, with the opportunity to listen, learn and ask questions.
Hosted by Matt Slater, Marine Conservation Officer and manages the Cornwall Good Seafood Guide.
Where? Online (Zoom)
When? Tuesday 17th November – 7pm
How much? Donate what you can (all proceeds go directly towards supporting CWT's marine conservation work)
