About the event

Start the day with an optional guided nature reserve walk to explore one of the oldest and finest ancient woodlands in Cornwall – Cabilla & Redrice Woods. Then join us at the Shire House Suite for informative talks and the formal meeting, with a pasty lunch and the opportunity to chat with trustees, staff and other Cornwall Wildlife Trust members.

Optional tours of Cabilla & Redrice Woods

Walks will take 1 hour and 25 minutes at a steady pace, stopping regularly for guides to provide information and point out areas of interest. There are some inclines and the terrain is uneven in the woods. Trails can become slippery when wet. There are no toilets. Please wear suitable waterproof clothing and footwear. Bring your walking poles if you like to use them.

The nature reserve walk is only partly accessible by Tramper- type mobility wheelchairs. However, the option of a talk just inside the woods will be available.

Please park in Bodmin (see below for suggested car parks). Shuttle buses will be running from Priory car park to the start of the walk & back.

The AGM is at the Shire House Suite, Bodmin. There is wheelchair access into the building, with an accessible toilet. Please see below for a map of the exact location of the building.
