About the event
Join us for a special afternoon at South Bosent, a beautiful wildlife-friendly garden set within 9.5 acres of countryside near Dobwalls.
Created by sisters Adrienne Lloyd and Trish Wilson, South Bosent has been transformed from farmland into a magical and ever-evolving haven for people and wildlife. Explore mixed borders, woodland gardens, meadow areas, six ponds, a rill and waterfall, fruit trees, and areas left deliberately wild to support birds, butterflies, insects, amphibians, and other wildlife.
During your visit, you can enjoy:
- Live music from Cornwall-based folk duo Meles Lutra
- Moth identification with Jenny
- Beekeeping demonstrations with James
- Homemade cakes and refreshments
- A Cornwall Wildlife Trust pop-up shop
- Plant sales
- Cut flower sales
Whether you're looking for gardening inspiration, wildlife encounters, or simply a relaxing afternoon in beautiful surroundings, South Bosent offers something for everyone.
