About the event

Join Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the associated Your Shore Network groups for a packed week of brilliant activities and events during National Marine Week!

From Saturday 25th July to Sunday 2nd August, we'll be celebrating and learning about our Cornish coastlines and marine life, why they're important and how to protect them.

Join Falmouth Marine Conservation at Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth on Wednesday 29th July for a fun-filled day celebrating the incredible marine wildlife and coastal habitats of Falmouth

Come and discover what makes our local seas so special through a range of free, family-friendly activities. 

Throughout the day, there will be:

  • rockpooling
  • marine-themed crafts
  • scavenger hunts
  • snorkelling (Booking in advance required)
  • ...and plenty of opportunities to explore, learn and connect with the amazing marine life found right here on our doorstep.

For those who are snorkelling, bring a wetsuit, boots, fins, mask and snorkel as well as a change of clothes.

Pay and Display parking for Gyllyngvase Beach is located in the beach car park, Queen Mary Road, Falmouth, TR11 4DP. There is also limited free road parking along Cliff Road.
