This is a unique, small-number experience offering access to our island nature reserve — ideal for wildlife lovers, photographers, and those seeking a peaceful morning immersed in nature.
Running Order:
09:00 – Meet at Harbour
Guests meet at the designated harbour departure point to catch the first ferry across to Looe Island. Welcome and brief introduction before boarding.
09:15 – Ferry Crossing
Enjoy a scenic boat journey across to our island nature reserve.
09:30 – Arrival & Welcome by Wardens
Meet the island wardens for a short welcome talk, safety briefing and introduction to the morning’s wildlife highlights.
09:45 – Guided Birds & Butterflies Walk
A relaxed, small-group guided tour exploring the island’s habitats. Discover coastal birds, migrating species and resident seabirds, alongside seasonal butterflies and wildflowers. Plenty of opportunities for photography and questions throughout.
11:00 – Refreshment Stop
Pause for light refreshments and a moment to soak in the peace and views.
11:20 – Free Time to Explore & Photograph
Time to explore independently, revisit favourite spots, and capture those perfect wildlife moments.
11:55 – Regroup & Depart for Ferry
Gather as a group and make your way back to the jetty.
12:15 – Return to Mainland
