About the event

We will meet at the first car park on the left when you enter the Perran Sands holiday park - when you book onto this walk we will ask you for your licence plate number so we can issue you a temporary permit for the car park. 

We will shortly set off onto the nature reserve for an informal walk to the lost church and back. The walk will take approximately 2 hours, and will be 3-4km over undulating terrain with rabbit holes and loose sand. 

This walk isn't a species ID walk, but a way to get outside and meet others out in nature. We will be stopping to notice nature as we walk and take in the beautiful surroundings. 

Important information: Although the walk will be taken at a slow pace, participants will need to be comfortable both standing and walking on uneven and loose terrain for extended periods of time. Sturdy shoes are recommended for this walk.
