About the event
Welcome to the National Amphibian Survey Training Day! Join us on 24th February at 9:30 at Gunwen Chapel. Get ready to learn about these fascinating creatures and how you could get involved and begin to survey them.
Whether you're a nature enthusiast or a wildlife expert, this event is perfect for anyone interested in amphibians. This event is for those aged 16+ but under 18s must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
What to expect from the day
In the morning, there will be an indoor study session where we will dive into amphibian identification, ecology, conservation, and how to complete amphibian survey. There will be time for a coffee break mid-way through the morning.
After another break for lunch, we will then head out onto our nature reserve to take part in the practical element of the training day. The day will then finish with another indoor session building confidence in reporting and joining the National Amphibian Survey.
You will need to bring
Wellies, waterproof coat and trousers, lunch and snacks, water bottle, re-usable mug.
We look forward to seeing you there!
