About the event

This fascinating and thought-provoking talk will be given by Dan Jarvis, Director of Welfare & Conservation for British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) in Cornwall & Scilly as the first of six Winter Talks organised by Mount’s Bay Marine Group and hosted by The Lugger Inn, Penzance.

Dan Jarvis will talk about the role of BDMLR in marine mammal emergency response – attending sea creature in distress – and will show us how we can all help reduce the threats that face these animals. He will present the national picture as well as describing incidents that have occurred in Mount’s Bay and in the local area.
