Open Gardens - Trenarth
About the event
This four acre garden is set around a 17th century farmhouse with wonderful panoramic views and not a road in sight! Trenarth is designed for abundant wildlife; water and bog features and plants encourage birds, butterflies and insects all the year round. There is even a maternity roost of lesser horseshoe bats. A children's trail around the garden makes this the perfect location for families.

What to bring
To quench your thirst and sweet cravings, we will have delicious volunteer baked cakes, tea, coffee and other drinks for sale, so remember to bring cash. You can also buy a plant (or two or three) from the plant stall. All proceeds will go to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.
The pandemic sadly meant that the Open Garden 2020 series couldn't take place. Instead, in depth interviews were held with the garden owners, including Lucie Nottingham from Trenarth.
