All the details about the Race for Wildlife will be available in early April 2012, until then here's what you need to know...
Race location
The 10K race headquarters on the day will be at Mounts Bay School, Boscathnoe Lane, Heamoor, Penzance, TR18 3JT. The fun run headquarters on the day will be just up the road at the National Trust's Trengwainton Gardens.
Entry forms
The entry form for the 10K and fun run will be available in June. If you would like to be notified when entries are open please send us your details by filling in our contact form or call us on (01872) 273939.
10K run
The 10K run has been accepted as an official event in the brand new Multi Terrain Race Series co-ordinated by Cornwall Road Running and Racing Group. This makes the Race for Wildlife 10K an essential part of Cornwall's race calendar. However, you don't have to be a 'running club' runner to take part - all runners of all abilities are welcome. The 10K is a stunning multi-terrain run that will take you through the countryside north of Penzance and includes breath-taking views of Mounts Bay and St Michael’s Mount.
1 mile fun run
The one mile fun run takes you on a route around the wonderful country tracks and paths of Trengwainton Gardens by kind permission of the National Trust. Some paths are uneven, stony and will be muddy! All ages are welcome and fancy dress is encouraged! Dogs on leads welcome.
Volunteer to be a race marshal
We will need lots of help on race day to make it a success! If you'd like to volunteer to be a race marshal, please contact the Trust's office on (01872) 273939 or email us giving us your name, postal address, home and mobile phone number.
