Welcome to Cornwall Wildlife Trust's events calendar. Everyone is welcome to attend our events which are held all over Cornwall. Events range from walks and talks to working parties and evening get togethers.

Donations from non-members are appreciated and all children must be accompanied by adults unless otherwise stated.

Marine biologists and local fishermen will teach you about these enigmatic and feisty creatures, including lobsters, and how Cornwall’s shellfish fishery is one of the most sustainable, and important, parts of the Cornish fishing industry. This is a closed reserve with no access to the general public. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust carries out the conservation work here so we will see some of the action being taken to protect and encourage the wildlife. The event is free.

Come on a guided walk through woods and fields looking for hidden wildlife such as slow worms and field voles and then prepare to meet the centre's resident wildlife! 'Butterfly blues walk' at Penhale SandsThis is the time of year when the very rare Silver Studded Blue Butterfly is usually on the wing at Penhale Sands - thousands can be seen flitting around or feeding in sheltered hollows in a good year, so we will have to see what the summer of 2012 brings and hopefully walk across the dunes whilst they are in flight. There are also many other types of butterfly and moths seen here, including day flying species, depending on the weather at the time and during the spring.
