Welcome to Cornwall Wildlife Trust's events calendar. Everyone is welcome to attend our events which are held all over Cornwall. Events range from walks and talks to working parties and evening get togethers.

Donations from non-members are appreciated and all children must be accompanied by adults unless otherwise stated.

Wildlife Celebration at The Lost Gardens of Heligan
For an unforgettable wildlife experience, join the Trust's dedicated staff and volunteers at their summer gathering in the amazing surroundings of Heligan. Some of the fantastic things to see and do will include; a wildlife photography walk with David Chapman, Fox Club's ARTrageous, meet native wildlife with Gwel an Mor, face painting, demonstrations with the Trust's Nature Reserves team, a fascinating bird walk around Heligan, games with the Marine Team, wildlife storytelling, and more!

We will explore the oldest part of the churchyard, which has been managed with wildlife in mind, and then create something, using natural materials, to remind us of our visit to this “living churchyard”.

An evening walk with bat expert Daniel Eva. We will walk along the reservoir to watch bats flying over the water and then on up through Fir Hill wood, to see and hear woodland bats, finishing with a walk back along the quiet lane to Porth Reservoir. The event is free.

'Geology of the Coast - Boscastle to Trevalga Circular Walk'
A gentle introduction to the geology of the coast around Boscastle. Devonian and Lower Carboniferous rocks, their origins and how they ended up where they are now, will be examined. Easy stuff, so just come and join us for the walk and the views. Purchase of a Boscastle to Tintagel Geology Trail leaflet beforehand might be useful. No booking necessary.

Warden's Walk around St. George's Island
BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Spaces are limited, early booking recommended. Afternoon event – details on enquiry. Take a boat trip to our unique reserve and join the warden for an escorted walk around the Island. During the 2 hour visit we’ll help you spot the Island’s key wildlife.
