Have fun and raise money to help save Cornwall's wildlife and wild places by holding a Wearing Your Wellies For Wildlife day at your school, workplace or community group. Take part in February 2017 and be in with a chance to win some fabulous prizes. Download the pack for more details.
Give it some welly for wildlife – a fun opportunity to make a difference for your local wildlife.
Whether you are a school, business, sports club or community group you can take part at any time of the year…
It’s a fairly easy concept, we simply ask you to pick a date, then encourage as many people to wear their wellies and donate a £1.00.
Wear your wellies can take place anywhere, in your workplace, school or even through your community group and for each person taking part we ask you to donate £1.00 towards the work of Cornwall Wildlife Trust; protecting Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places.
You can also organise any number of special events, to add an element of fun and silliness. For example you may hold a three legged welly race, or a welly wanging competition. All of which could be used as fundraisers for wildlife in Cornwall.
You could also get family and friends to sponsor the event to raise even more money for the Trust’s conservation work! So, whether plain in colour, brightly coloured or they have frog faces, wearing your wellies for wildlife is a great way to show that you love Cornwall and love its wildlife.
