Adopt a Seal for Father’s Day
8th June 2011
Cornwall Wildlife Trust and Cornwall Seal Group are offering the opportunity to adopt our local wild seals for Father’s Day. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect gift for your dad.

Adopting a seal for Father’s Day costs just £15, and they will receive a profile and photograph of your Cornish seal, invitations to seal group meetings and much more. Or perhaps your father would like to become a friend for just £30 where he will also receive opportunities to take part in seal group events.
Sue Sayer of Cornwall Seal Group says, “Seals are spectacular, iconic, intelligent and social marine creatures. Money raised from our seal adoption scheme directly contributes towards seal pup watches and rescues, assisting with the release of rehabilitated seals and pioneering, as well as for in-depth research to track and learn more about seal behaviour and how climate change is affecting their habitats.”
To adopt a seal for your Dad log on to the adopt a seal page or phone Sue Sayer on 01736 754562.
Cornwall Seal Group will use 75% of your money to continue seal research work. The remaining 25% will be used by Cornwall Wildlife Trust for marine conservation work in Cornwall.
A Cornish seal adoption makes the perfect present for anyone who loves Cornwall’s wildlife.
