  • Botanical Cornwall Group - the group's primary purpose is to co-ordinate botanical recording within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
  • Cornish Hedge Group - this group was formed out of the Cornwall Biodiversity Initiative to bring together all those bodies and individuals with an interest in Cornish Hedges.
  • Cornwall Garden Society - A charity promoting conservation and protection of our natural environment by encouraging gardeners to follow good gardening practices.
  • Fern World - the site of the British Pteridological Society.
  • HDRA - Henry Doubleday Research Association's Organic Network for Schools - encouraging schools to sow, grow and nurture plants using only organic methods.
  • Hopworthy Woods - Hopworthy Woods, in Devon, is a recently planted broadleaf woodland created for wildlife and visitors to enjoy.
  • Natural History Museum - the Botany Department's scientists are involved in many different areas of research based on their collections.
  • Plantlife - a charity acting directly to stop common wild plants from becoming rare in the wild, to rescue wild plants on the brink of extinction, and to protect sites of exceptional botanical importance.
  • Royal Horticultural Society - one of the world's leading horticultural organisations, with extremely active science and educational departments based at RHS Garden, Wisley.
  • The Sensory Garden Project - the Sensory Garden is a private garden which is open to the public on a limited number of days under the National Gardens Scheme.
  • West Cornwall Orchid Society - West Cornwall Orchid Society brings together people with a keen interest in the cultivation of a wide variety of orchids from around the world.
  • Wild Flower Society - the only national society created specifically for amateur botanists/wild flower lovers in the UK.
