Wild Cornwall no.97 Spring 2005

Editorial

Volunteers are the mainstay of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. This edition of Wild Cornwall focuses on just a few of the people who devote their time and effort to the wildlife ofCornwall, each in their own special way. Their vital work is greatly appreciated, as is the work of all those other star volunteers who are not mentioned by name this time, but who nonetheless deserve our equally heartfelt thanks and may well be featured in the future.

Summer is a time when the natural world outside the confines of our homes and workplaces seems to be beckoning particularly enticingly. I hope all our readers get the chance to see orchids, bumblebees, unhurt marine creatures, or whatever else you really hope to find on a long, warm summer's day. Why not turn to the events diary on the centre pages for inspiration and then go along and meet some fellow enthusiasts too?
