The Sequest Basking Shark Project only surveys from Hella Point but basking sharks can also be seen elsewhere. To see where basking sharks, dolphins and other marine life have been spotted around Cornwall go the the ERCCIS Seaquest Southwest sightings page.

Isle of Man basking shark sightings

The Isle of Man Wildlife Trust runs a basking shark project known as the Manx Basking Shark Watch. Their website is another useful resource and contains photographs of basking sharks taken around the Isle of Man as well as some information about the biology of the sharks. Details of the project's latest sightings can also be viewed online.
