  • Trust staff take on Round The Mount challenge

    Members of Cornwall Wildlife Trust staff, from Reserves to Marine, Ecologists to Managers, are joining forces to swim the now infamous ‘Round the Mount’ RNLI wild swimming event this September for both Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the RNLI, and are calling on its supporters to help them raise some much needed funds for the brilliant charities.

  • Sperm Whale Stranded on Cornish Beach

    A rarely seen female sperm whale has stranded and sadly died on Perranporth Beach in North Cornwall on Sunday 10th July 2016. One of only six sperm whales to have stranded in the county since records began, marine biologists are hoping to investigate the animal further to find out why and how this beautiful animal died.

  • High Praze for WI hedge competition

    Judges of the Cornwall Federation of Women’s Institutes’ Allsop Cup competition were taken aback by the levels of interest and high standard of entries this year. Praze-an-Beeble WI were awarded first place and will be presented with the Allsop Cup trophy later this year at the WI Annual Council meeting.
