The Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (ERCCIS) is looking to appoint a Development Officer. The post will lead on an exciting development phase for ERCCIS and the Wildlife Information Service (WIS) overseeing the unification of the ERCCIS and Online Recording Kernow & Scilly (ORKS) websites as well as delivering changes, via Drupal and Indicia, that enables ERCCIS to deliver data searches of species and habitat data within this website.
The role will help oversee the management and delivery of the project by liaising with external contractors as well as managing ongoing improvements to the ORKS App. The post holder will be required to have excellent CMS knowledge (Drupal 8) and some coding ability in order to make minor changes to the website. They will help set up external contracts for ongoing security and update management protocols. The post holder will display excellent attention to detail, alongside strong problem solving and analytical skills. Additionally, the post holder will work well both in a small team and independently.
Full time fixed term contract until 31 March 2019 - 37.5hours per week
