G7 Summit in Cornwall

Our home. Our wildlife. Our Cornwall.

This week the Prime Minister will welcome world leaders to Cornwall for the G7 Summit in Carbis Bay to discuss the most pressing global issues, including tackling climate change and preserving the planet’s biodiversity.

We’re asking our supporters to join us and our hundreds of staff, volunteers, trustees and partners in speaking up for Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places ahead of the G7 Summit. As our newly released State of Nature Cornwall report shows, Cornwall’s nature is in serious decline with 1 in 9 species at risk of local extinction. Help us in holding the government to account, to ensure we achieve 30% of Cornwall’s land, rivers and seas managed well for nature’s recovery, by sharing our video.

It's all connected...

For nature to truly recover, we envisage a Nature Recovery Network for Cornwall - protecting and creating larger areas of habitat that are connected by wildlife corridors – ensuring land is actively being put into recovery for nature’s benefit. Watch the video below to see our vision of a Nature Recovery Network in Cornwall and share your views here.
