Record Wildlife (ERCCIS)

We want your wildlife sightings!

Cornwall Wildlife Trust hosts the Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (ERCCIS) - the central resource for wildlife and habitat information for the county. Using state of the art and nationally recognised data management and digital mapping software packages, ERCCIS can provide a wide range of services to aid better informed biological and geological recording, conservation management, research and sustainable development of the Cornish landscape and seascape.

ERCCIS encourages anyone to submit wildlife records, whatever your experience and no matter how common or widespread the species. Your records will help improve our understanding of the natural history of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, as well as to be used in decision-making, education, research and other public benefit purposes. ORKS (Online Recording Kernow and Scilly) is a wildlife recording website run by ERCCIS and has been designed to make it as quick and easy as possible for you to submit, manage and share your wildlife sightings.
