Recycle your printer cartridges

During 2005, more than 310 million inkjet cartridges and more than ten million laser toner cartridges were consumed in Western Europe. It takes on average one litre of oil to manufacture every 15 inkjet cartridges and 3.3 litres of oil for every laser toner cartridge made. Staggeringly 85% of cartridges end up in landfill.

Working with Reclaim-it

Cornwall Wildlife Trust have teamed up with Reclaim-it, who have agreed to make a donation to the Trust for every ink cartridge that we send to them for recycling.

How to recycle your ink cartridges

You can drop your used ink cartridges to the Trust headquarters where we will forward them to Reclaim-it for recycling.

Alternatively, you can pick up pre-paid envelopes from the Trust where you can send your ink cartridges to Reclaim-it yourself.

Please note, we cannot accept Epson inkjet cartridges, photocopier cartridges, toner bottles or ribbons.

If you wish to check if your make/model of cartridges can be recycled through this scheme please contact Carolyn O'Hagan, Marketing and Fundraising Administrator through our enquiry page or on (01872) 273939 ext 204.
