Nature Trails

Journey along the Mounts Bay Marine Trail and explore the iconic coast path through Newlyn, Penzance and Marazion. Discover the interactive features and find out about the history, wildlife and stories of the bay.

For the safety and enjoyment of other visitors, and to protect wildlife from disturbance, please do not fly unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) or other remote-control flying devices in our nature reserves without permission.

Those looking for a day out exploring the rugged landscape of Cornwall will be right at home on the Wilderness Trail, an 8-mile (13 km) circuit around the heart of the reserve. The terrain can be challenging so suitable clothing and footwear is a must. Boardwalk is available in certain areas, but not the entire course of the trail.

Your donation to the Cornwall Nature Reserves Fund will help manage our existing nature reserves and purchase more land for nature. By supporting vital work on our reserves and increasing their size, you can help protect precious habitats and species which rely on them. Each day, Cornwall Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers are working on the ground on our reserves to create a Cornwall where nature thrives.
