Looe Island weddings

We are delighted to offer couples the opportunity to make their wedding vows in the unique and beautiful setting of Looe Island Nature Reserve.

During the months of April to September the exclusive use of this wonderful location is available for weddings, blessings and renewal of vows.

Looe Island Nature Reserve is a licenced wedding venue and can be booked for weddings and civil ceremonies for a fee of £1,500 +VAT.

The charming licenced building, Jetty Cottage, can host a party of 33 but this includes two registrars and the wedding couple, leaving space for 29 guests.

The boat fare for getting to and from the island is included in the fee.

Due to its unique nature, careful planning is required to hold a wedding on Looe Island Nature Reserve. We strongly advise a visit to the island to help you decide if this is the right location for your special day. When planning a visit please contact the wardens (looeisland@cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk) so that they can arrange for someone to show you around.

The island can only be booked for weddings and civil ceremonies provided there is a back-up venue (licenced), in case bad weather prohibits access to the island.

The Trust works with local businesses who provide back-up venues along with managing wedding bookings for Looe Island.
