Join your local VMCA volunteer group
If you live within or very close by to a VMCA, you can become a VMCA volunteer. As a volunteer you will take part in training and survey work to monitor and assess your local marine environment. To find out more about the project and what volunteering will involve, please join Abby Crosby, Your Shore Project Officer at our regular volunteer meetings happening within your local VMCA.

Voluntary Local Community Engagement Ranger

An exciting opportunity to full time volunteer for Cornwall Wildlife Trust, the National Trust, and the Polzeath Voluntary Marine Conservation Area has arisen.
The Voluntary Local Community Engagement Ranger role encompasses helping to manage and develop the Polzeath Voluntary Marine Conservation Area (PVMCA), being a key support to the local community who are an active part of this project, as well as being an integral part of the local National Trust Ranger team.
