Seaquest Southwest

Seaquest Southwest is a marine recording project run jointly by Cornwall and Devon Wildlife Trusts which collects sightings of all marine creatures from the public.

The seas around the south west are amongst the richest areas for spectacular animals including whales, dolphins, basking sharks and turtles. Seaquest Southwest aims to monitor and assess populations and individuals of these migratory species. The Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (ERCCIS) collates all the information given by the public and then makes this available for research.
