Sponsorship
Sponsorship is an excellent way for local businesses to support the Trust. By sponsoring a particular project or aspect of our work, those running businesses can be proud of the difference they are able to make to wildlife conservation.
Sponsorship can be tailored to meet a business’ particular interests, and we currenty have fantastic support for various projects or aspects of our work.
Project sponsors
As well as funding specific conservation projects, businesses can support us by helping towards our costs;
- A number of local business help us to finance the printing costs of our beautiful Wild Cornwall calendar each year ensuring that all sales are a profit which enables us to continue our conservation work keeping Cornwall wild. A huge thank you goes to our 2012 calendar sponsors; Handykam, Best of Bodmin Moor, Structural Engineering Services, Classic Cottages, Paradise Park, Skinners, Cornwall Holiday Cottages, Kittwake Cottage, Chelonia Ltd, Watson Marlow, CoaST/NEA2 and Isles of Scilly Travel.
- Fourway have covered the printing costs of our 2011 appeal.
Worldwide Financial Planning, Independent Financial Advisors to the Trust, kindly sponsored our Wetland Habitats appeal in 2009, helping us maximise the appeal’s fundraising potential. Through sponsorship they have also helped us buy a new passenger boat for Looe Island Nature Reserve.
Peter McGahan, Director of Worldwide Financial Planning, says “We’ve been supporting Cornwall Wildlife Trust for many years through our pension advice scheme. Sponsoring the appeal and the boat were further ways we could help and we were proud to do so.”
